Why "Jalebi"?
Jalebi is India's golden festival sweet: batter piped into spirals, fried until crisp and soaked in warm syrup. It shows up at Diwali, at weddings and on street corners from Delhi to Kolkata. We named our kitchen after it because a good meal, like a jalebi, should go round and round the table.
